Black Thunder Schnauzers (BTS) is a family owned and operated miniature schnauzer kennel in Alamogordo, New Mexico USA.  We are located in the southern part of the state.  We are approximately 180 miles south of Albuquerque / Santa Fe, and 90 miles north of El Paso, Texas. 

Here at BTS Kennel, we raise, breed, and sell Miniature Schnauzer puppies.
We specialize in Black & Silver, Solid Blacks, and Salt & Peppers.  Miniature Schnauzers are a non-shedding, hypo-allergenic breed that are ideal for people that are allergic to dogs or just allergy sensitive.

Some of the area attractions in our area are: White Sands National Park, New Mexico's Museum of Space History, Sacramento Mountain Range and the Trinity Test Site where the U.S Goverment tested the first nuclear bomb on July 16th, 1945.
 
It is our goal at BTS to produce beautiul intelligent miniature schnauzers that exhibit the AKC miniature schnauzer standard as close as possible.  These standards include temperament, height, weight, conformation, color and markings.  Just as important, we strive to produce miniature schnauzers that are healthy, intelligent, calm, affectionate, loyal and alert.  Our adult dogs are a result of professional breeding from champion bloodlines from across the United States and Europe. 

Besides being flashy show dogs, you will find out rather quickly that miniature schnauzers are much more than pets, they will become your family members.  You will wonder how you ever lived without them before...we did!  We have had dogs all our lives, these schnauzers are the best dogs ever.  They are really "Cool Dogs"!

Our puppies are born and raised in their own room within our home, we call it the Schnauzer Pad.  In the Schnauzer Pad, they have their own beds, toys, stereo, dining area, snacks, and professional grooming area.  They also have an indoor/outdoor kennel for good weather surrounded by a beautiful flower garden complete with a Koi fish pond.  We spoil our schnauzers,  you will too when they steal your heart!

Before shipping, each of our puppies are Vet checked and provided with a health certificate and shot record. BTS guarantees them to be free from any genetic defects.  Puppies recieve their shots at 6 weeks, 8 weeks, and are prophylacticaly dewormed.  They also have their dew claws removed and tails cropped; however, we Do Not crop ears.  We prefer the look of natural ears.  Ear cropping is up to the new owner.


If you are not 100% satisfied with your new puppy, we will purchase the puppy back within the first year of life. We are sure you will be completely happy with your new miniature schnauzer puppy.  We love every one of ours!  They are truly like children.  We do ask that you fill out a puppy application so that we know our puppies are going to a safe and happy home with responsible owners.  We will try to match you and your family with the "ideal" puppy.
